Cuesta Men's Basketball dropped the Third Place Game at the 2nd Annual Hinson's Tire Pros Winter Classic to Mt San Jacinto, 65-57. The two teams traded the lead back and forth most of the first half until the Eagles built a lead of a dozen points in the last few minutes before the intermission. The letdown provided a cushion for Mt San Jacinto and allowed them to stave off several Cuesta runs to hang on for the victory. The Eagles Davon Sanders was named to the Hinson's Tire Pros All Tournament team after scoring 15 points and pulling down seven rebounds in the game. In the title game, #7 San Bernardino Valley upset defending Hinsons Tire Pros Champion #3 East LA, 75-56. Guard Tymoryae Glover was named Tournament MVP and was joined on the all-Tournament team by fellow Wolverine Damani Washington. East LA's Roderick Williams and Solomon Hunt were also named all-Tourney. In earlier action Allan Hancock beat Pasadena, 74-65, in the Consolation Final and landed Devin Davis on the all-Tourney squad.
