Regional Tournament Brackets Announced
San Francisco and Fullerton earn their respective region's top seeds

City of San Francisco, the defending state champions, and Fullerton were awarded the No. 1 seeds in the CCCAA Men's Basketball playoffs. San Francisco, the state's top seeded team, has won 13 consecutive games, won the Coast-North division and opens the playoffs with a record of 27-1. The Rams have won three state championships under head coach Justin Labagh. San Francisco is trying to win its third state title in the last four years.
Meanwhile, Fullerton (25-3), which lost its final regular-season game to fall into a tie for the Orange Empire Conference title, secures the south's top seed. By winning a share of the conference title, the Hornets won the program's 29th conference title and the second for head coach Perry Webster. Fullerton's 25-3 record is the fourth best in the Hornets' histroy. Fullerton will be trying to win its fourth state title in men's basektball (1954, 1961, 2006).
In all, 39 teams advance to the regional tournament with the final eight advancing to Ventura College for the state finals. Playoffs begin on Wedneday with seven first-round games. Highest seeded team is home team. Game times are 7 pm, unless the host college is also hosting a women's basketball playoff game. Please check the daily schedule for game times.
