Knights' Playoff Run Ends on L.A. Valley Buzzer Beater

San Diego City's hopes for a second state championship ended in heartbreaking fashion on Saturday with Los Angeles Valley winning the sweet sixteen matchup, 83-81, on a buzzer-beating layup in overtime. The Knights had a 14-point lead with less than five minutes left in regulation, but couldn't hang on and saw their 7-game win streak snapped.

Knights Edge Fullerton, 63-61, to Advance to Sweet 16

San Diego City (25-5) shot only 30% percent in Saturday's second round playoff at Fullerton (22-6), but the Knights took advantage of the Hornets' 21 turnovers and escaped with a 63-61 victory to advance to a Southern California regional final on March 7 at Los Angeles Valley. Dominic Hovasse scored a game-high 24 points to go with four rebounds, three steals, and a block.

Six Knights Score in Double Figures in 1st Round Playoff Victory

San Diego City is back in the second round of the CCCAA playoffs after eliminating Los Angeles Southwest, 92-73, at Harry West Gym on Wednesday night. All five starters scored in double figures, including freshmen Legend Stamps and Dominic Hovasse who led the Knights with 16 points and seven rebounds apiece.

City Ends PCAC Season With 53-point Home Win on Sophomore Night

On sophomore night, it was the two freshman bigs who dominated against Grossmont as Legend Stamps and Drew Cisse combined for 35 points, 26 rebounds, and six blocks in a 111-58 home win to wrap up the PCAC season. The Knights finished the conference season on a 5-game win streak that earned them second place with a 14-2 record.

Four Starters Combine for 70 Points in Win Over Palomar

Four San Diego City starters, including Dominic Hovasse who led with 20 points, combined for 70 points in Friday night's 88-81 home win over Palomar. It was the Knights' third straight win and their 10th in the last 11 to improve to 21-5 overall and 12-2 in the PCAC.

Sophomore Victor Irhirhi poured in 24 points on 8-of-9 shooting, including 3-for-3 on 3s, to lead the Knights in a 103-60 home win over Imperial Valley on Wednesday as the Knights improved to 19-5 overall and 10-2 in the PCAC.

Cuesta Men's Basketball fell to #18 Ventura in a Western State Conference loss, 63-60, yet came within a few seconds and a couple of defensive rebounds of knocking off the loop’s top team.

San Diego City reached the century mark for the seventh time this season on Wednesday as they defeated Mesa, 101-72, to improve to 18-4 overall and 9-1 in the PCAC.

Irhirhi and Huntsberry With 21 Points Each in a 91-74 Victory Over MiraCosta

Victor Irhirhi and Kai Huntsberry each scored 21 points on Friday night to help the Knights earn their fourth consecutive win, 91-74, over MiraCosta. San Diego City has now won 11 of its last 12 and improved to 15-4 overall, 6-1 in the PCAC.
