Knights Rout Palomar to Win 4th Straight
The Knights put together another impressive performance on Friday night, overcoming a slow start by using a 27-4 first-half run to turn a close game into an 89-53 rout over Palomar into a rout. City is off to a 4-0 start in the PCAC and improved to 13-3 overall.

Jonathan Ogugua, who leads the Knights in scoring (18.3 ppg), scored a game-high 19 points to go with three rebounds and three steals. The Knights got 46 points from their bench, including eight from Aaron Anene.
Drew Cisse posted a line of six points, 11 rebounds, and three assists. Anthony Howell played in his first home game of the season and contributed six points and eight rebounds in 11 minutes of action.
The Palomar Comets, led by Noah Woodby's 14 points, jumped out to an 8-2 lead, but it was all Knights the rest of the way. City went on a 27-4 surge that gave them a 17-point lead late in the first half. The Knights only shot 39.4% in the first half, but held Palomar to only 23.3%.
City kept the pressure on after halftime and outscored the Comets 19-4 in the first six minutes of the second half to take complete control of the game with a 50-21 lead.
It was the third blowout in the first four conference games with the Knights winning all four by an average of 28.5 points.
The Knights will be on the road on Wednesday, January 19 at MiraCosta with the tip scheduled for 6 p.m. They will be back home against Grossmont on January 21 at 7 p.m.
