Now 3-3 this season, the GCC Men's Basketball team beat Cypress College 57-54 Thursday Nov. 16 and fell to Chabot College 87-77 Friday Nov. 17 in the Pasadena City College Crossover Tournament at PCC.
Tyson Jackson was the lead scorers for Glendale in both games with 21 in the win Thursday over Cypress and 25 in the loss to Chabot. and had a team high seven rebounds Thursday. Colin O'Malley added 12 points in the win and Karson Peffer had five. assists. "We played o full 40 minutes of hard-nosed defense and bought into our game plan. We played very hard today,'' said head coach Vigen Jilizian about the win over Cypress.
Glendale will not be in action until Nov. 29 when they play at Chaffey College at 5 pm
