Top Three Teams Remain the Same; Mt. San Antonio Breaks Into the Top 5, Displacing West Valley
Mounties have won four straight games since last poll, Coast-North has six teams in the top 20

While the top three teams — San Francisco City, Fullerton and Las Positas — remain the same in this week's CCCMBCA Poll there was a shake-up as 25 of the 31 ranked teams moved one way or another. Skyline, Ohlone and Canada of the Coast Conference were the biggest movers from the last poll. Skyline climbed six spots while Ohlone and Canada climbed four slots each. Their movement now gives the Coast-North six teams in the top 20. Skyline posted consecutive wins after suffering its first loss of the season to Santa Rosa.
Four unranked teams appear in this week's poll as Yuba lands at #25. Yuba opened the season ranked No. 9 in the preseason poll, but after losing five of its first seven games the 49'ers fell out of the top 30. Other unranked teams making an appearance this week are — Moorpark, winners of eight straight after a 2-5 start; Cypress which is 8-2 in its last 10 games; and Palomar, winner of four straight including an upset win of previously ranked Southwestern.
Five of the 13 conferences have begun conference play. Several others will begin conference play after the start of the new year.
