Four $750.00 scholarships will be awarded each year to student athletes who competed in men’s basketball at a California Community College. Two scholarships will be awarded in both the North and South regions. These scholarships will go to student-athletes not receiving a full scholarship to a four-year college. Basketball participation at a four-year college is NOT a requirement.

CRITERIA
1. The candidate must have participated in basketball at a California community college for two seasons.

2. At the time of selection the candidate must have completed 40 semester units or 60 quarter units with a grade-point average of 3.25 or above on a 4.0 scale.

3. 2 Letters of recommendation.

4. Candidates will be evaluated by all selection committees using the following weighted standards: A. Scholarship – 50% B. B. Athletic Participation – 25% C. C. Participation in other campus or community activities – 25%
