GCC Men's Basketball beat L.A. Valley 74-62 Feb. 4
The GCC Men's Basketball Team rallied from a one-point half time deficit to beat visiting Los Angeles Valley College 74-62 Saturday Feb. 4 in a Western State College South matchup at Glendale Community College. Glendale, now 2-8 in conference and 8-16 overall, outscored the visiting Monarchs 41-28 in the second half to seal the win.
Gabino Ramirez led GCC in scoring with 21 points, hitting eight of 13 from the field as four Vaqs scored in double figures. Julian Dixon and Immanuel Lewis had 14 points and four rebounds each and Powell Mousaian added 12 points off the bench as Glendale shots 44 percent from the field and from the 3-point line for the game.
GCC continues conference play this week with a 7 pm home game Wednesday Feb. 8 against Bakersfield College and at Citrus College Saturday Feb. 11 at 5:30 pm
