Warriors Fall Against LA Harbor at Home

TORRANCE, Calif. - El Camino College fell 78-62 at home against LA Harbor on Wednesday night at the ECC Gym Complex.

The Warriors (6-19, 1-6) trailed 39-28 at the half against the Seahawks (8-17, 2-5).  LA Harbor outscored the Warriors 39-34 in the second half.

The Warriors had three players reach double-digits in scoring.  Jason Vasquez led the team with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Rashon Crutcher had 12 points and 7 rebounds and Jamal Howard had 11 points and 3 rebounds.

Terence Clayton led LA Harbor with 21 points and 7 rebounds.

The Warriors shot 41.4% (24-for-58) from the field.  The Seahawks didn't shoot much better as they were 44.3% (27-for-61) from the field but they sank 15 three-pointers compared to the Warriors five.

The game was close in the first half until there were about two minutes left in the first half.  The Seahawks went on a 9-0 scoring run to close out the half with a 39-28 lead.

LA Harbor opened up a 20-point lead on the Warriors in the second half enroute to a 78-62 final score.

The Warriors will head to Cerritos College on Friday, February 14th. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
