Hodgson scores season-high 31 points vs. No. 19 Chabot

FREMONT – Ohlone College freshman Amos Hodgson torched visiting Chabot College for a career-high 31 points but it wasn't enough as the Renegades suffered a narrow 74-70 Coast Conference North Division loss on Friday.
Ohlone led 38-34 at halftime but couldn't hold on for the win against the No. 19 state-ranked Gladiators.
Hodgson did all he could to keep the Renegades in the game. He sank 7 three-pointers as part of 11 for 18 shooting from the field and added a pair of free throws.
Wesley Burns and Anthony Lacy both posted double-doubles as part of impressive individual nights. Burns totaled 10 points and 10 rebounds while Lacy came off the bench to score 10 points and grab a game-high 12 boards.
The loss dropped Ohlone to 14-8 overall and 2-6 in the Coast North. The Renegades will look to snap their losing streak when they return to action on Wednesday (Feb. 5) when they travel to Cañada College for a 5 p.m. Coast Conference North Division game.
