Vasquez, Howard Lead Warriors to Third Straight Victory

El Camino College had an excellent shooting day from the field and three players score in double figures in a 93-90 non-conference victory at L.A. Trade Tech on Friday night.

Jason Vasquez led the Warriors with 29 points on 11-for-16 shooting. He added six rebounds and four assists in the victory. Jamal Howard scored 23 points on 10-for-12 shooting and Darrian Williams-Youngblood flirted with a triple-double, dropping 19 points with nine rebounds and seven assists.

Mark Chin scored 21 points with Dahmaj Warren adding 20 and Markel Eatmon scoring 18 for the Beavers in the loss.

The Warriors have now won three straight games and will enter South Coast Conference, South Division action with a 5-13 overall record.

They open SCC play Wednesday as they host Compton at the ECC Gym Complex with tipoff set for 7 p.m.
