Saturday's loss set the Marauders up for a battle for third place against Pasadena College on Sunday. AVC started strong and took a 39-32 lead into the break. But the offense stalled in the second half as they only managed to shoot 34% from the field, a drop from 44% in the first half. The 26 second-half points weren't enough to sustain the lead and resulted in the 75-65 loss.
