Sophomore Derrick Monroe played his final regular season contest on Wednesday evening (2/19/25).  The result was a solid 77-61 victory over the visitors from Butte College.  Monroe led all scorers with 18 points, while grabbing 6 rebounds and 4 steals.  6'5 Freshman Forward Damonte Duhart from Las Vegas, NV controlled the glass with 18 rebounds, finishing the contest with 12 points.  Sacramento's Nick Fletcher had a very solid evening off the bench scoring 10 points and pulling in 8 rebounds, while shooting 4 for 4 from the free throw line.  The Golden Eagles move to 17-10 on the season and are tied for third place in the Golden Valley Conference.  As a result of the tremendous season, coupled with a very solid non-conference schedule, the Men will advance to the 3C2A playoffs.  Expectations are that the Golden Eagles will host on Wednesday, February 26th - make sure to come out to the game and support FRC.  We will keep you all posted on game time and opponent.
