The College of the Sequoias men's basketball team jumped out to an early 10-0 lead and never looked back on the way to an 86-46 Central Valley Conference victory over the Reedley College Tigers on Wednesday night in Reedley.

The COS bench out scored the Tiger reserves 33-10 as the Giants improved to 7-4 in the CVC and 17-8 overall. The loss dropped Reedley to 4-7 in conference play and 8-15 overall.

Alfredo Jimenez and Ruben Parks both had 11 points to lead Reedley.

The Tigers return to action Saturday at 5 pm, hosting Merced College. It will be the final home game for Reedley sophomores John Jamison, Elijah Jefferies, Elijah Clark and Jimenez.
