The Coyote Basketball Team (17-7, 7-6), took their show on the road Wednesday night and brought home a huge win against conference foe, San Bernardino Valley College (12-8, 8-5). The Coyotes were able to control the tempo of the game all the way until the final minutes when SBVC charged back to take a late one point lead. However, the Coyotes would not go down without a fight as they regained that one point lead and with seconds on the clock, were able to hold off the Wolverines for a 69-68 win. The win moves the Coyotes into a fourth place tie with VVC, both teams own a 7-6 conference record.

This Saturday, the Coyotes will play their final regular season home game against Palo Verde CC at 3:00 pm. Palo Verde is a first year start up program, but much credit is given to this team as they have proven to be scrappy on the court. The Coyotes will be coming into this game well prepared to make their final home stand. Saturday's game also marks Sophomore Night, as this will be the final regular season home game for Coyote sophomores, Jonathan Foster, Vernon Hardison, Isiah Thomas, and Jordan Pumphrey. All 4 of these players have been shining examples of Coyote Athletics and have represented their program well both in the classroom and on the court.
