The Coyote Men's Basketball team played host to San Diego Mesa, Antelop Valley College and the team from East Los Angeles College over the Christmas break. The three day tournement was a huge success with big crowds due to the appearance of the Netflix series 'Last Chance U - Basketball' highlighted team, ELAC Huskies were in attendance. Crowds were treated to three days of exciting community college basketball. The Cuyamaca College Coyotes went 1-3 losing to cross-town rivals SD Mesa and the tournement favorites ELAC. However, the Coyotes were able to pull out an exciting win against AVC taking the game and closing out the tournement play 78-76.
