The Hawks shot 42.4% (25-59) as a team, inlcuding 34.8% (8-23) from three. Free throws was the blemish for the Hawks as they only shot 56% (14-25) from the charity stripe. Sophomore Andre Huddleston chipped in 12 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals to help CRC emerge victorious. Patrick Parkes Jr. added 11 points on 4-7 shooting, along with 2 rebounds to help the Hawk offense.

Coming off a COVID year, the Hawks only have 3 sophomores on their roster. Most of the colleges this season will be freshman heavy on their rosters as a result of not having a season last year. It will be key to see which freshman step up this year to help carry the team, and adjust to the pace of college play.
