Glendale gets first win of the season, 65-62 over Santa Ana Nov. 3
After a tough loss at home to start the season Tuesday Nov. 1, the Glendale College Men's Basketball Team split a pair of games Nov. 3rd and 5th in the Santa Ana College Crossover event. The Vaqs fell to Chaffey 74-73 last Tuesday, beat Santa Ana 65-62 on Thursday and fell to Santiago Canyon 90-66 Saturday.
In the win over Santa Ana, Elijah Groves led the Vaqs with 13 points and eight rebounds and Gabino Ramirez added 13 points and five boards. Abiel Pearl had 12 points, four rebounds, two steals and a pair of blocks and Powell Mousaian had 11 points and Braxton Williams had six rebounds.
Glendale plays next in the Mt. SAC Crossover Thursday Nov. 10 at 6 pm against Victor Valley College and Saturday Nov. 12 in a game TBA.
