Gabe Mack made six 3-pointers and finished with a team-high 28 points, but the Cabrillo College men's basketball team fell short against San Mateo 85-83 at the Cabrillo College Classic on Friday night.
Mack, a sophomore guard out of Milwaukee, completed the double-double with 11 assists.
All five starters reach double digits in scoring for the Seahawks, who drained 13 3s. Freshman guard Jonel Aponte had three 3s and 14 points while freshman forward Brandon Harmon had three 3s and 13 points.
Sophomore center Hunter Seymour had 10 points and 10 rebounds for Cabrillo (3-6) and teammate Alphonse Alfred, a freshman forward, had 10 points and nine rebounds.
