The Folsom Lake men won their fifth straight game on Tuesday night as they once again jumped out to a big lead, then coasted to victory with a 89-68 win over Modesto at Falcon Gym. The winning formula has worked to perfection during the winning streak with the Falcons averaging 93 points a game while giving up just 66. Sophomore Pierce Rexford and freshman Dane Johnson led the Falcons' scoring with 21 points each, while sophomore Tre Adams returned from injury with a vengance, scoring 14 points in the paint and controlling the boards.
With the win, the Falcons (8-5 overall, 2-0 in Big 8) grabbed the top spot in the Big 8 standings. They'll tytavel to Stockton on Thursday to face Delta (7-7, 1-1 in Big 8) at 7:30 pm.
