The L.A. Pierce College Men's Basketball team earned their first win of the season against L.A. City in their home opener 69-56.
Pierce led the whole game gaining a lead of up to 22 points. Despite oly holding a five point lead at halftime. The Brahmas outrebounded their opponents 4-32. they also shot 21 free throws and shot 41% from the field.
Sophomore Keshawn Christian led all scorers with 24 points and also added eight rebounds. Sophomore GD Deng also added 10 points and eight bounds, while freshman Kameron Brown recorded a near doube-double with eight points and nine rebounds. The Brahmas are now 1-2 on the early season, and will be in action next at the Pasadena City Classic tournament. They will face Mt. San Antonio, Thursday November 16 at 3 p.m.
