Knights Set To Host L.A. Southwest in 1st Round Playoff
The San Diego City men's basketball team has qualified for the postseason for the seventh consecutive season as the 11-seed and will host No. 22 Los Angeles Southwest at Harry West Gym on Wednesday, February 26 at 7 p.m. in the first round of the CCCAA playoffs.

General admission is $12 for adults and $8 for students, faculty, staff, senior citizens age 60 and over, and children under 12.
The Knights head into Wednesday's playoff having won five straight and 12 of their last 13. They finished second in the PCAC with a 14-2 record and were 23-5 overall.
Head Coach Mitch Charlens has now led the team to at least 20 wins in six of the last seven seasons.
The Knights will try to make another run to the state championship final where they advanced to in 2017 and 2018. They won their first-ever state title in 2017.
Los Angeles Southwest won its last five games to earn a share of the South Coast-South championship with an 8-2 record. The Cougars went 17-10 overall this season.
The winner of Wednesday's game will move on to play a road game at No. 6 Fullerton on Saturday, February 29.
The Knights are 10-1 at home this season and have won their last four playoff home games, which were played in 2017 and 2018.
The last meeting between the Knights and L.A. Southwest came in the semifinals of the Grossmont tournament on December 2, 2017, which the Knights won 101-89.
