Falcons fall to Yuba at home

A good-sized crowd turned out at Falcon Gym for Friday night's game with Yuba College, but left disappointed as the 49ers pulled away late for a decisive 89-77 win over FLC.  The Falcons hung in and even led for stretches, but the 49ers' depth proved to be too much.  Everett Campbell led the Falcons in scoring with 24 points, Grant Bellis added 10 points, and Chris Fairchild had a solid game with 9 points and 9 rebounds.  The Falcons' inability to break the Yuba press was essentially the difference in the game, as the 49ers were the beneficiaries of 25 Falcon turnovers.

The Falcons (0-3) will head to Lemoore on Thursday for the West Hills College Tournament, where they'll face Reedley, Bakersfield, and West Hills on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, respectively.
