Chaffey had five players in double digits against the Vikings, with sophomore Eric Milner leading the pack at 17. Jozelle Carter and Eulysses Foston each had 16, Ronald Elloie 14, and Kristian Curl 13. In what was a three-point heavy matchup, the Panthers hit eleven with Foston hitting 4:5. The team was 81% from the line.
"It was a tough, hard fought win on Sophomore Night," remarked Head Coach Jeff Klein. "Chaffey withstood a barrage of threes (20) from the Vikings. The Panthers' Isaiah Barcelo and Kristian Curl made 4/4 clutch freethrows to seal the victory."
In their final regular season home game, the Panthers honored their six sophomore players: Milner, Curl, Elloie, Jared Barnes, Chijindu Egeonu, and Ishmael Arrelano.
Chaffey will play the remainder of the IEAC season on the road beginning with Mt San Jacinto Monday evening.
