STOCKTON, Calif. – Shasta College's men's basketball team went 1-2 at the San Joaquin Delta College Tournament, beating host Delta 67-63 before falling to Contra Costa 88-73 and to Sierra College 84-74.

Shasta 67, Delta 63
The Knights edged the Mustangs in both halves and were led by Josiah Palumbo's 19 points. Bekdoo Lewis scored 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds off the bench. Carson Kingston scored 11 points, Josiah Hutt contributed 10 points and nine rebounds and T-Ryan Stumpf had a team-high four assists. Shasta shot 45 percent from the field in the game.

Contra Costa 88, Shasta 73
The Knights trailed 47-33 at half and put up 40 points in the second half. Individual stats were not available for this game for Shasta.

Sierra 84, Shasta 74
The Knights trailed 48-42 at half and were outscored 36-32 in the second half. Hutt recorded a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds, Palumbo scored 11 points and Kameron Morphew scored 10 points to go with six rebounds.
