No. 1 Rams wrap up conference title with rout over Chabot, close out regular season Friday at No. 3 Las Positas

SAN FRANCISCO --- A goal of the No. 1 state-ranked City College of San Francisco men's basketball team is in the books. Thanks to a 117-72 rout of Chabot College on Wednesday, the Rams secured at least a share of the Coast Conference North Division championship.

CCSF has now won 11 straight Coast Conference championships, dating back to the 2010-11 season.

The Rams (13-0) can claim the title outright with a win in their regular-season finale on Friday (Feb. 18) at second-place and No. 3-ranked Las Positas College (10-1). These two squads met on January 26 with the Rams rallying in the second half to win 89-79.

The Rams took care of business against Chabot on Wednesday. They got off to a good start and built up a 53-22 lead at halftime over the Gladiators before cruising in the second half.

Naseem Gaskin scored a game-high 25 points on his 10 of 16 shooting. Wrenn Robinson scored 17 points off the bench and Devan Sapp totaled 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists.

Seyi Reiley posted a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds while Julian Vaughns added 14 points.

CCSF has won 22 consecutive games and is 26-1 overall this season.
