Rams end season with playoffs loss at No. 2 CCSF

SAN FRANCISCO – An impressive opening season for Gavilan College head coach Henry Anyiam came to a close with the No. 18-seeded Rams' 72-63 loss at No. 2 City College of San Francisco in the second round of the Northern California Regional Playoffs.

The Rams held their own with one of the top teams in the state but a 38-29 halftime deficit was too much to overcome.

Fabian Reichstadt totaled 20 points and 5 rebounds to lead Gavilan while Isaiah Hinds had 16 points, 6 assists, and 5 boards.

The Rams wrapped up the season with a 13-17 overall record and went 6-6 in Coast Conference South Division play to finish in fourth place. Gavilan reached the second round of the playoffs after knocking off No. 15-seed Cosumnes River in the first round. The Rams made their second straight postseason appearance.
