Tyson Jackson scores 33 points to lead GCC Men's Basketball to 78-70 win over L.A. Valley College Feb. 15
In a season full of highs and lows for the GCC Men's Basketball Team, sophomore guard Tyson Jackson led his squad to a 78-70 win over L.A. Valley College 78-70 in his final home game in the Vaquero Gym Feb. 15. 
 
Glendale led Valley 42-34 at halftime and stretched that lead to 13 points in the second half and never surrendered the lead after trailing 27-24 in the second quarter. Jackson led the Vaqs with 33 points and added five assists and four rebounds. Noah Smith had 18 points and three steals and Nigel Dickens had 16 points and seven rebounds.
 
GCC concludes regular season and conference play with two road games this week, at Antelope Valley College Wednesday Feb. 19 and at Citrus College Friday Feb. 21. Both games start at 7 pm.
