Chazz Hutchison sails through the air for a tip-in.

8's ACROSS THE BOARD FOR HUTCHISON

The top-ranked FC men's basketball team made it seven straight on the road Thursday night clipping the Eagles of Mt. San Jacinto 73-55.

The win maintains the Hornets undefeated season at 7-0, while the 30th ranked Eagle-loss bumps them to 4-3 on the season.

The game flowed Fullerton's way early as they took a 12-2 lead five minutes in that was capped off by a dunk by Chazz Hutchison. A jumper by Gaven Ramirez put the Hornets up 35-20 with just over two minutes left in the half. By the break, FC had a decent 36-24 advantage.

In the second half, Fullerton kept its distance hitting 61.1% from the floor, while forcing the Eagles to shoot 34.5%. By the four-minute mark, FC pushed its lead up to 22 points (68-46) on a jumper by RJ Banks.

It was a big night for sophomore Chazz Hutchison, who was 8 for 8 from both the floor and the free-throw line scoring a game-high 24 points. Hutchison also brought down... you guessed it, 8 rebounds. RJ Banks had an active game scoring 13 points with 7 assists and 4 steals. Kobe Newton came off the bench to score 10 points and Ronnie Stapp dropped in 8.

Up Next: Fullerton (7-0 overall) heads out on the road once again this Saturday, December 4th when they play College of the Desert. Tipoff is at 3:00 pm.
