The young Chabot men's basketball team took a big step forward with an 80-64 win over Shasta in its first home game of the season.
Six Gladiators reached double figures: Akili Daniels with 17 points, 4 rebounds; Jordan McGlory with 17 points., 7 rebounds; Jabari Sweet with 12 points, 6 rebounds; Jordan Cineus with 12 points; Kolby Charles with 11 points; Kyle Brown with 10 points.
The Gladiators will host Folsom Lake on Friday and San Jose on Saturday in the Gladiators Shootout. Both games will tip off at 4 p.m.
