(Walnut, CA) In spite of having four players score in double digits, Mt. SAC (6-18, 1-4) lost to visiting Rio Hondo College, 83-77, in a South Coast Conference North Division game on Friday, Feb. 7.

Collin Reed led the Mounties with 19 points and grabbed six rebounds in the process. Teammate Kalique Mitchell added 18 points and collected a game-high 12 rebounds as Maliq Neurell (17) and Josh Jastrab (11) rounded out the double-digit scorers for Mt. SAC. Gerald Jordan led all players with five assists in the losing effort.

Bryant Howing led all players with 23 points for the Roadrunners (4-21, 1-4).

The Mounties continue their SCC North schedule at Los Angeles Trade Tech (14-11, 3-2) on Wednesday, Feb. 12, at 7 p.m. The Beavers defeated Mt. SAC, 92-86, on Jan. 24.
