San Diego City claims PCAC title

The San Diego City College Knights won the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference men's basketball title this past week when they rallied for a 75-73 win against MiraCosta College.  It was the first PCAC title for San Diego since 2017-18 but the sixth in the past 10 years.

San Diego City had to come from behind to clinch the PCAC title last week.  The Knights trailed by 10 points with just over two minutes remaining before rallying past the Spartans.  Jonathan Ogugua buried a runner in the lane as time expired as the Knights improved to 22-3 overall and 13-0 in PCAC play.

San Diego City finished the week with a win against Grossmont College and has two games remaining with Imperial Valley before the California Community College Athletic Association Southern California Regional Playoff seeds are announced next Saturday.
