Bakersfield, CA – The Renegade Men's Basketball team hosted College of the Canyons at the Gil Bishop Sports Center in conference play on Friday night for the final game of the season and came away with a victory, 79-67.

Before the contest, five Renegade sophomores were honored prior to playing in their final game at BC. The five sophomores included: Michael Guillory, Vince Damelio, Tyrell Coleman, Isayas Aris and Blake Van Uden.

The Renegades found themselves in a battle with the Cougars at the beginning of the game. Canyons took control of the game for most of the first half before the Renegades were able to break away with the lead and go into the half, 41-34.

The rest of the game was dominated by the Renegades as they were .500 from the floor shooting in the second half.

Tyrell Coleman had a season and career high 34 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the Renegades to the win.TJ Counts had 15 points and Michael Guillory added 14.

With the loss, the 2019-20 Renegade Men's Basketball season concludes. They finish with an overall record of 16-12 and 4-10 in conference.
