For the second game in a row, the Cerritos College men's basketball team saw a second half shooting slump lead to a defeat, as they dropped a 75-62 decision against Riverside City College on Thursday. The Falcons (5-5), who have lost both games at the Riverside City Tournament, will play their third game on Saturday at noon when they face Copper Mountain College (3-7).

Trailing 32-30 to start the second half, sophomore Dorian Harris (Cerritos HS) completed a three-point play to give the Falcons a 33-32 lead. That would be the team's last lead of the night, as the Tigers (6-4) went on a 20-4 run, which saw Cerritos go 1-for-4 from the field and turned the ball over five times.

Down by as many as 15 points (60-45), the Falcons could not put a scoring run of their own together.

Harris led the team with 20 points on 8-of-12 shooting to go along with five rebounds, while sophomore Juice Belvin (St. Anthony HS) added 10 points, three rebounds and three assists off the bench. Freshman Garrett Bell (Sonora HS) hit a pair of three-pointers to add six points, with freshman Jalen Shores (Lakewood HS) posting seven points and four assists.
