The City College of San Francisco men's basketball team continued to flex their muscles against conference opponents after thoroughly defeating Chabot College Gladiators 106-69 on Wednesday at CCSF.

The win improves the Rams' record to 23-1 (7-0 Coast-North) and increases their win streak to an amazing 19 games.

CCSF started the game against Chabot (1-7 Coast-North/3-20 Overall) firing on all cylinders. The Rams went on a 20-4 run to start the first half, and by the end of the half CCSF held an insurmountable 61-33 lead. Guards Eddy Ionescu and Terrell Brown led CCSF's first-half scoring barrage with 11 points and 10 points, respectively.

The Rams continued to push the pace against an overmatched Gladiators defense in the second half. By the time 11 minutes had passed in the half, the Rams' had close to a 40-point lead (85-47). When the sound of the buzzer ended the night's match, the Rams' 106 points scored marked the seventh time this season that the team has surpassed the 100-point barrier.

CCSF's top scorers on the night were Brown (17) Ionescu (16), and guard Curtis Witt (16).

The Rams take their show on the road and will look to increase their win streak to 20 games when they play Foothill this Friday at 7 p.m.
