Mt. SAC Men's Basketball Takes Fourth at Skip Robinson Classic

(Pasadena, CA) After an opening-round win over Glendale College, the Mt. SAC Men's Basketball Team dropped its next two games against Santiago Canyon and Pasadena, respectively, to take fourth place in the eight-team Skip Robinson Classic at Pasadena City College on Nov. 14-16.

Mt. SAC (2-5) will host Santiago Canyon (7-0) on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 7 p.m.

Mt. SAC 58 Glendale College 45

Four of Mt. SAC's starters scored in double digits to lead the team to a 58-45 win over Glendale College (0-2) in the opening round of the Skip Robinson Classic.

Gerald Jordan scored a game-high 14 points for the Mounties (2-3), while teammates Adrian Ragland and Malique Neurell added 11 points each. Josh Jastrab pitched in with 10 points to round out the double-digit scorers for Mt. SAC.

Jordan also led all rebounders with nine boards.

Santiago Canyon 98 Mt. SAC 68

Raglund's game-high 30 points weren't enough for Mt. SAC (2-4) as Santiago Canyon (6-0) rolled to a 98-68 win in the second round of the Skip Robinson Classic.

Jastrub and Jordan added 13 points each for the Mounties and Jordan had a game-high 14 rebounds. Raglund grabbed eight rebounds and had three assists in the losing effort.

Pasadena City College 85 Mt. SAC 82

Pasadena City College (4-4) overcame a 10-point halftime deficit to defeat Mt. SAC, 85-82, in the third-place game of the Skip Robinson Classic.

Jordan led the Mounties (2-5) with 21 points and teammates Raglund, Jastrab, and Colin Reed contributed 18 points each. Reed also led the team in rebounds with seven while Jordan grabbed six.
