The MSJC men's basketball team won their second straight game on Saturday as they defeated visiting Barstow 78-69.

The Eagles led by one at the half and then held on down the stretch to earn their fifth Inland Empire Athletic Conference win of the year. The game was physical from the start and by the end of forty minutes fifty-five fouls were called, 29 against Barstow and 26 against the Eagles. MSJC also won a game without the benefit of a made three-point shot for the first time in four years. The Eagles ended the afternoon 0-13 from long range but made up for it by connecting on 34 of 45 free throw attempts.

Adrian Mosley led all scorers in the game with 22 points, he also had 7 rebounds and 4 assists. James Freeman IV recorded a double-double with 17 points and 10 boards while Elijah Edwards chipped in with 13 points.

MSJC will play twice this week. Wednesday the Eagles host San Bernardino Valley at 7 pm and Saturday will travel to Cerro Coso for a 3 o'clock game.
