The Hartnell Men's Basketball team had their hands full Friday night with visiting San Jose City College. They played catch up throughout the first half and trailed by only three points 37-34 at half. After trading baskets for most of the second half, the game came down to who would make the last bucket. On this night the Jaguars would do that and take home the victory over the Panthers 67-66.
Daniel Bost led the Panthers with 16 points, six assists and four rebounds. Brenden Cannon chipped in with 15 points, six rebounds and five blocks. Tyrique Sears came off the bench to score 11 points. The Panthers made 13 three pointers and out played the Jaguars in every stat category except for getting out rebounded 41-21.
The Men's Basketball team travels next to take on Monterey Peninsula College on Wednesday Jan. 22 at 7 p.m.
