
The Oxnard College Condors (3-2) powered through a strong second half to defeat LA Southwest College (2-6) 96-87 in their second consecutive win during the 2024 Condor Crossover tournament. The Condors' explosive offense and balanced team effort were the keys to their victory in a high-scoring game at home.
After a strong first half, where Oxnard led 40-31, the team came out of the locker room energized and maintained their lead throughout the second half. The Condors finished the game shooting 50.8% from the field and an outstanding 91.3% from the free-throw line, outpacing LA Southwest with their offensive efficiency.

- Daniel Ortiz led the way for Oxnard, putting up a game-high 29 points and grabbing 13 rebounds, showcasing his all-around skills.
- Theo Briscoe (https://www.instagram.com/p/DDBQRujptXQ/) had a standout performance, contributing 26 points, including 5-of-9 from three-point range, and adding 8 rebounds to his stat line.
- Myles Allison also had an impressive outing, finishing with 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists, helping to orchestrate the offense.
LA Southwest fought hard, with Kenneth Tyree scoring 27 points and grabbing 3 rebounds. However, despite his stellar effort and support from Marques Calcote (24 points) and Chase McDuffie (16 points), the Condors' balanced scoring attack proved too much to overcome.
