SAN BERNARDINO - The Marauder men's basketball team had no problems with the Miramar JV team in the opening round of the San Bernardino Classic with a 90-68 victory, Friday afternoon.
"I thought we played okay. We did what we had to do," AVC head coach John Taylor said. "We got some of the guys with some playing time that we will need down the stretch. I thought we got in a little foul trouble and we I think we need to get better at defending the three, but we'll be okay for West LA."
Greg Floyd, Jr. led the way with 15 points, while D'Mauria Jones and Julian Payton each finished with 12.
AVC led 46-24 at halftime and cruised the rest of the way. The Marauders will play West LA in the semifinals on Saturday at 5pm.
