CULVER CITY --- Ethelbert Anum secured a double with 16 points and 10 rebounds while Roy Clarke posted a double-double of his own with 11 points and 10 rebounds to help lead No. 2 state-ranked West Los Angeles College to its 15th straight victory, a 100-77 win over Santa Monica College on Friday.

The victory also wrapped a perfect 14-0 record and a Western State Conference South Division championship for head coach Anthony Jones and his 2021-22 Wildcats.

The Wildcats are surging at the right time. Thanks to its strong play, West LA, now 23-3 overall, rose two spots to No. 2 in this week's California Community College Men's Basketball Coaches Association (CCCMBCA) State Rankings.

The Wildcats wrap up the regular season this week with a pair of rescheduled non-conference games at home, hosting San Diego Miramar College on Wednesday (Feb. 23) and Copper Mountain College on Friday (Feb. 25).

Following those contests, the Wildcats can turn their attention on the postseason where they will likely be named the No. 1 seed for the upcoming Southern California Regional Playoffs.
