ANOTHER 20 WIN SEASON!

It was a second half effort that had the No. 2 FC basketball team glide past the Orange Coast College Pirates 86-61 on the road Friday night.

The Hornets homed in on their 20th win on the season, which marks 6th straight 20-win seasons all under Head Coach Perry Webster.

FC came out in the first half a little flat shooting 35.7% from the floor as OCC kept pace before eventually taking a 31-29 lead into the half.

The second half of the game was night and day for the Hornets as they shot an impressive 74.2% blowing past the Pirates with 60-47 by the 9:34 mark. The push was was capped off with a layup by Gaven Ramirez.  Fullerton moved further ahead of Orange Coast taking its biggest lead of 27 with just under 2 minutes to play before finishing with the win.

Javon Jones and Kobe Newton came off the bench to lead the team with 17 points each. Chazz Hutchison came through with 12 points with 8 rebounds, while Collin Reed added 11 points with 2 blocks. Tristan Williams had 8 points with 5 assists.
