Warriors Fall at Home to East Los Angeles

TORRANCE, Calif. – El Camino College had four players score in double figures but a poor second half proved costly in a 126-81 defeat to East Los Angeles Friday night at the ECC Gym Complex.

Darrian Williams-Youngblood and Jason Vasquez led the Warriors (2-13) with 22 points apiece while Jamal Howard added 13 and Rashon Crutcher recorded a double-double with 13 points and 10 assists. But the Huskies (15-1) offense erupted in the second half, scoring 72 points in the final period alone to record the blowout win.

Kealen Allen led the charge for ELAC with 21 points and seven rebounds while Levelle Zeigler and Joseph Hampton added 18 points apiece on a night when seven players scored in double figures.

The Warriors will return to action on Jan. 8 with a road game against Mount San Antonio. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m.
