The American River College Men's Basketball program open Big 8 Conference play with an impressive 57-48 victory over Diablo Valley College on Tuesday, December 23rd.
In a tightly contested basketball game that saw both teams enter halftime tied 21-21, the Beavers were able to pull away in midway through the second half and outscored Diablo Valley 36-27.
With the win the Beavers move to 1-0 in conference and will prepare to take on San Joaquin Delta College at home on Thursday, January 2nd, at 5:30 PM.
