Columbia pulls away late to defeat Falcons

The Falcons hosted Columbia College on Saturday afternoon in a rematch of their season-opener from two weeks ago, when they lost to the Claim Jumpers by 22 points.  The rematch proved to be a much closer game as the teams went into halftime deadlocked at 38, but the Claim Jumpers' inside game and ability to draw fouls allowed them to pull away in the second half and defeat the Falcons, 83-72.  A trio of Falcons accounted for most of the scoring with Yaadvir Dhaliwal and Pierce Rexford each netting 19 and Dane Johnson with 18.

The Falcons won't play again until November 30, when they host College of Alameda at 6:00 pm
