No. 1 Rams roll to 14th straight win, beat Skyline 87-50

SAN FRANCISCO --- Jamir Thomas came off the bench to score a team-high 20 points to help lead No. 1 state-ranked City College of San Francisco to an 87-50 Coast Conference North Division win over visiting Skyline College on Wednesday night.

The Rams surged to their 14th consecutive victory to improve to 18-1 overall and 5-0 in conference play.

CCSF stormed out to an early lead and held a commanding 33-14 advantage at halftime and was never challenged.

The Rams nailed 14 three-pointers in the contest, including five from Thomas. Julian Vaughns and Devan Sapp both made three from downtown on their way to scoring 9 points each.

Emmett Neal added 12 points and 6 rebounds while Mezziah Oakman contributed 11 points and 7 rebounds. Nathan Ilunga totaled 8 points and 8 rebounds and Naseem Gaskin led CCSF with 12 rebounds to go along with 5 points.

The Rams will put their winning streak on the line when they next play at Chabot College on Friday (Jan. 21) at 7 p.m.
