Men's Basketball Wins Against Cerro Coso

With four Tigers scoring in double figures, the Reedley College men's basketball team (4-6 in the CVC and 8-14 overall) recorded a 96-84 victory over the Cerro Coso College Coyotes Saturday night in Reedley.

Freshman Hassan Bolden (Madera South) and sophomore Alfredo Jimenez (Kingsburg) both had 26 points to lead Reedley to the victory. Bolden added 13 rebounds to finish with a double-double. Freshman Cohen Blythe (Australia) followed with 24 points while Elijah Jefferies added 11 points and five assists.

Reedley led most of the way. The Tigers dressed only nine players due to illness while Cerro Coso (2-8, 6-15) brought seven players from Ridgecrest. Cameron Redd led the Coyotes with 29 points and 11 rebounds.

The Tigers are back in action on Wednesday night, hosting the College of the Sequoias (6-4, 16-8) at 7 pm, following the women's contest, which tips at 5 pm.
