REDWOOD CITY – Logan Baltazar posted a double-double with 21 points 10 rebounds while Jake Skaggs had one as well with 14 points and 11 boards to help lead Cañada College to a 92-83 win in overtime against visiting Foothill College on Saturday.
The Colts snapped a two-game losing skid and improved to 7-2 overall.
Darius Jackson had a solid game off the bench, contributing 21 points to the win. Josiah Morris added 14 points and 6 rebounds. Along with his double-double, Skaggs had 5 assists and 4 blocks.
Following the win on Monday, the Colts rose five spots to No. 24 in this week's California Community College Men's Basketball Coaches Association (CCCMBCA) State Poll.
Cañada is back in action on Wednesday (Dec. 18) when the Colts travel to Merced College for a 3 p.m. non-conference game.
