CRC Hawks (4-5) vs. #24 Reedley (7-2)

Sacramento, Calif – Cosumnes River (4-5) faced #24 Reedley (7-2) for the second time this season. In the first matchup of the Roundball Classic at the West Hills College-Lemoore, the Hawks played tough but from behind most of the game. They dropped the first one, but they were hungry for redemption.
The first half was full of back-and-forth lead changes. The Hawks led 38-36 at the break.
CRC came out wanting to take command, and their offense was aggressive and successful. With just over 16 minutes left in the game, the Hawks led 52-45 on a three from freshman guard Adam Orr. However, turnovers by the Hawks came back to haunt them as Reedley went on a 16-2 run to take a 61-54 lead with about 8:30 remaining.
Cosumnes River struggled to overcome the untimely turnovers and eventually fell short to #24 Reedley 76-66.
