
Men's Basketball Cruises to Victory over Panthers, 79-65
SANTA MARIA, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College men's basketball team led from start to finish in the 79-65 victory at home against Hartnell College on Tuesday evening inside of the Joe White Memorial Gymnasium. The Bulldogs now hold an overall record of 5-4 on the season while the Panthers fall to a 1-8 mark. | BOX SCORE
Both teams shot around 42 percent from the floor, but Hancock excelled inside with a 56-28 rebounding advantage. AHC put up a final tally of 40 points in the paint and registered 23 tallies on second chance opportunities.
River Ortiz led the way with 15 points after a 5-for-13 finish from the field. Owen Ubaldo and Adam Silmon followed with 12 and 11 points, respectively, while Noah Morris pulled down 11 boards. Arlind Konjuhi came off the bench to provide a team-best of four assists and added nine points on the night.
The Bulldogs are set to return to action on Saturday, December 7th, with a road trip to Coalinga.
